Ses Figueretas is actually a neighbourhood in the Ibiza town. It’s one of the most multicultural areas of the island where Ibiza’s residents mix freely with visitors, the streets are bustling with shops and there’s plenty of life on the beach. Plus, it has a huge variety of restaurants where you can taste food from every continent. They are usually open almost all year round.
This area is characterised by its extensive seafront which was upgraded a few years ago. And it’s a place where many people go to walk and relax. You’ll see kids on their bikes, people sunbathing and swimming in the sea, and groups of friends chatting on the beach as the sun goes down. It’s in an unbeatable location within the city. Plus, it is one of the most popular spots and a gathering place for many people during the August 15 festivities organised by the Neighbourhood Association.
Right in this area of Ses Figueretas there is a couple of hotels that you simply must not miss out on!
One of our favourite places to stay is Vibra Lei Ibiza. It’s an adults-only hotel which will make you feel right at home. Hotel Vibra Lei is located in the heart of Ses Figueretas. It has great transport connections to the airport, as you can get there by car, taxi or bus in just a few minutes.
Another hotel we love is Hotel Vibra Marítimo, located on the seafront in Ses Figueretas. It boasts views of Formentera and Playa d’en Bossa. It’s a small, sweet and welcoming hotel. If you’re into keeping fit, the hotel has a gym and an indoor pool on the ground floor that overlooks the seafront. It would be a shame not to jump on in!
After your fitness session at the hotel or on the seafront itself, why not enjoy some healthy food or a detox drink on the terrace of its restaurant Blavós? It has a wonderful sea view.

Aquabus provides an excellent regular service that leaves from the dock on Figueretas beach promenade. It has different options depending on whether you want to spend the day or you’re going to stay overnight in Formentera. If you travel with a suitcase, bicycle or pet, then you’ll be pleased to know that you don’t have to pay extra. There’s also a ferry service to Formentera running at different times.
The centre of Ibiza town is just a ten- or fifteen-minute walk from any of these hotels. On the way there, why not savour the little shops and daily life. How’s that for a plan?
