1. How many days do I need in Ibiza?
It all depends on you, but three to seven days is perfect if you want to enjoy the vast array of activities on offer. However, if all you have is the weekend, then don’t worry: you’ve got the perfect excuse to visit us again!
2. Which towns and places can I simply not miss out on?
The centre of Ibiza town is a must-see for many reasons. You can take a stroll around the old town of Dalt Vila, go shopping in the range of stores and eat at restaurants buzzing with nightlife.
Just a few minutes walk away, you’ll find Playa de Figueretas and Playa d’en Bossa, beaches you just have to visit.
We recommend you go out for lunch, to dine or just grab an ice cream and enjoy the perfect backdrop: the sea. Why not take a gorgeous walk on its extensive beach? You’ll feel great after!
We also love the neighbourhood of San Antonio, in the north east of the island. This is the perfect place to enjoy unforgettable sunsets to the rhythm of music. Plus, once you visit this town you’re guaranteed to fall in love with its huge array of bars and restaurants filled with a lively atmosphere.
Finally, we also recommend towns including:
–Santa Eulària des Riu located in the east with a huge variety of gastronomy.
–Sant Josep de sa Talaia, is one of the island’s most beloved towns where a popular and traditional flea market is held on Saturdays. Another excellent reason to include it in your itinerary.
–Es Canar, is the home of the island’s most famous flea markets. In the same area you’ll find the town of San Carlos just a stone’s throw away. Las Dalias market is located nearby too.
–Es Cubells, is one of the island’s more traditional towns where time seems to stand still. If you’d like to explore rural Ibiza, then why not visit Santa Agnès de Corona?
3. Unmissable beaches and coves:
When it comes to listing Ibiza’s most spectacular beaches and coves, we’ve got an impossible task on our hands. Despite the challenge, we’d like to give you a few recommendations that definitely won’t disappoint.
–Cala D’Hort is the most charismatic place on the island. A small cove, its main charm is the view of the islets of Es Vedra and Es Vedranell. The beach is located in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia and it’s very easy to get to both by car and by moped. However, it tends to be difficult to park there in the high season. This beach has two very popular beach bars, El Carmen and Es Boldadó, known for their typical Ibizan fare, with specialty dishes such as Bullit de Peix (fish stew) and paella. It also has a small shop where you can purchase souvenirs.
–Cala d’en Serra is located in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja in the north of the island. Just 50 m long, it’s one of the island’s lesser-known and practically unspoilt coves, which has remained untouched as it’s difficult to reach by car.
–Es Portixol is even more remote than Cala d’en Serra. Also in Sant Joan de Labritja in the north of Ibiza, lies this incredible cove, which is impossible to get to by car. A narrow path and half hour walk prevents herds of tourists flocking to this beach. Highly recommendable for hiking-lovers, as the path offers some splendid views. There are no services at this beach and diving is recommended here.
–Cala Saladeta is probably one of the island’s most famous and frequented beaches. It’s located in the municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany. The influx of tourists means that vehicle traffic is restricted during certain periods. However, it is a gorgeous cove with crystal clear water, golden sand and a really jovial atmosphere. It’s located beside Cala Salada and can be reached via two paths: one which is more difficult yet more direct and the other which leads you over the mountain and round to the beach.
This cove does not have any services and if you want to see the sunset, then this isn’t the right beach for you. However, it is a must if you’re in San Antonio.

Blavós Ibiza, restaurant is located on Playa de Figueretas. Walk along the promenade to get there. It is the ideal place to enjoy great food with a view of the sea and Formentera in the company of your friends. Don’t miss out on its midday specials! It’s also a fabulous place to have a drink.
If you fancy a light bite in somewhere buzzing with atmosphere, then QUIB pool bar is exactly the place for you. It’s a bar by the pool, with freshly prepared, high quality snacks and cocktails. You’ll find it in Aparthotel Vibra Jabeque, located by the sea with breathtaking views of Formentera.
Another recommendable pool bar is AQUA lounge bar. It oozes pure Ibiza-style vibes and does outstanding cocktails. You’ll love kicking back on its sofas and enjoying the famous shisha before moving on to the clubs. Plus, AQUA bar is a place where you’ll spot many DJs. Now there’s something to make your stay even better! The bar is located at the Hotel Vibra Mare Nostrum in Playa d’en Bossa.
