Spring is about to come and it starts with the Holy Week from next March 28th. In Ibiza you can feel it in the air, in the sun which is shinning for more hours, and in the garden’s smell that makes you travel back in time to the last summer.
If you are reading this post, you probably already know this is one of the best times you can visit the white isle: the prices are generally lower than in summer times, including hotels and other services such as the rent a car. Besides, this is the perfect time of year to get to the most remote places that are usually very crowded.
Why to choose Ibiza? Why not?
The beach is all yours.
Few people can boast of having experienced the Figueretas-to-Playa d’en Bossa walk and not having met more than ten people along the way. Besides, during these months, the music coming from the beach clubs yields to the sound of the waves breaking against the sand and the seagulls join the soundtrack. The water is crystal clear, more than ever, and the bravest dare to have the first bath of the year.
We recommend you to visit Las Salinas beach, where you will find beach clubs for all likes, and Figueretes, a “must” because of its views to Dalt Vila and to the small island in front of your eyes. And for those having a car or a motorbike, go visit Cala Gració, Cala Carbó, Cala Boix and Cala Molí.
Ibizan Towns
We feel Spring is at the corner when like every year, each town starts celebrating activities since the “Es Gerret Fair”, in Santa Eulàlia, takes place. Every town has different traditions that are shown to the visitors when they invite everybody to their markets, fairs, gastronomic events, etc. We want to highlight here for their special beauty: Santa Eulalia, San José, San Jorge, San Lorenzo, Santa Inés y San Carlos. And of course, do not forget Dalt Vila.
Tradition
In Holy Week you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to know the “processions and rituals” that take place since ancient times. It is an spanish event full of sentiment and history. The processions in which Nazarenes parade are carrying the Bible images are very popular worldwide. The first begins on Holy Sunday “Domingo de Ramos”, followed by Thursday and Good Friday. And finally, on Resurrection Sunday, where the “Encuentros” take place.

In these dates our hotels San Remo, Marco Polo, and Mare Nostrum, will be just opened for you, as well as Apartamentos Panorámic and Luxmar. Don’t miss the opportunity and get the best prices booking them now! What are you waiting for?
